At one point, we had up to 16 women working in our shop making malas, packing orders and sewing our popular recycled sari shopping bags.
When the pandemic of 2020 hit, we had to separate our happy team as the ladies went back to their villages or local homes - locked down.
Once we were able to start shipping again and business picked up, the ladies began working at their homes, which is where many of them still are. They come over to the stockroom once a week and pick up work to complete at home.
We all miss the camaraderie of our work environment and hopefully we'll all be together again soon!
